La Minga 2020: A Historical, Decolonising Contact Zone in Contemporary Colombia

This paper explores how the Indigenous social protest of “La Minga 2020” became an opportunity for re-appropriating and decolonizing public space La plaza de Bolivar, while fostering collective opposition to ongoing violence affecting communities in Colombia. Through analysis "La 2020”, colonial character use theoretical concepts such as Contact Zones decolonization spaces, article reflects on people transformed hegemonic into a place collectiveness.
